Quick Chipotle Shrimp Tacos

I love quick, big, bold flavors. This dish can be made from start to finish in about 10 minutes and is one of my families favorite Taco Tuesday meals. Enjoy!

    Stabilize your grill at 500°F, place a large cast iron or grill safe pan on the grill and allow it to come to temperature.

    Place the oil in the pan, add the sliced onion and cabbage and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes. Close the dome so the natural lump charcoal flavor can season the cabbage mixture.



    • 1 tablespoon Oil
    • 1 each Yellow Onion, Sliced Thin
    • 1/4 each Red Cabbage, Thin Sliced

    Season the shrimp with the chipotle in adobo and add the shrimp to the pan, use a pair of tongs to mix everything evenly then top with seasoning and close the dome for 4 to 5 minutes.



    • 1/2 pound Shrimp, Peeled & Deveined (21/25 or smaller)
    • 1/2 - 7oz Can Chipotle in Adobo, Diced
    • 2 teaspoons Lanes BBQ Chili Lime Seasoning

    Open the dome, mix again, ensure the shrimp are fully cooked then top each tortilla with an appropriate amount to the cooked shrimp and cabbage mixture. Then top with your favorite toppings… Cheese, cilantro, avocado, fresh squeezed lime, and maybe another dash of the chili lime seasoning. Enjoy!



    • 6 - 8 Tortillas, Heated
    • 2 each Lime for Juicing
    • 2 tablespoons Cotija Cheese or Queso Fresco
    • 1/4 bunch Cilantro
    • 1/2 each Avocado
