Kamado Joe Questions et réponses avec Jace Green

What inspired you to start barbecuing? How long have you been doing it?
My wife was diagnosed with Celiac Disease shortly after our first daughter was born. That was a lifestyle change and the opportunity to dedicate a lifelong passion of cooking with the creativity of recipe creation. Combining that with growing up in the South on family farms, fresh meat and vegetables were always on the menu.
What advice would you give to Someone new to grilling? do you have any advice for a new content creator in the BBQ space?
Never be discouraged or intimidated. Don’t ever think this art is perfected. Stay humble and be willing to learn every single cook. They are all unique, that is the best part of this process.
What is your favorite grilling technique that you've learned and why?
Hot and Fast Smoke! I love to eat, and love great food. Knowing that you don’t have to wait 12-15hrs for delicious BBQ was a game changer. At times and depending on the meat, I am cooking at temps of 275-285 degrees to save some time. It can work!
Anything else you'd like to share?
Content creation is hard. One piece of advice, work in your personal comfort space. Be yourself and honest. The engagement will ebb and flow, but you should stay persistent! Believe in yourself!
