Smoked Baby Back Ribs on the Pellet Joe®

Ingredients

Ribs Smoked on the Pellet Joe pellet grill using the 3-1-1 method. This is a great recipe for smoking ribs on a pellet grill and results are fall-off-the bone good.

Instructions

    Set up the Pellet Joe for smoking at 250˚F

    Remove membrane from ribs

    Ingredients

    • 1 Rack Pork Baby Back Ribs

    Season both sides with BBQ rub

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup BBQ rub

    Smoke for 3 hours, spritzing every hour with ½ apple juice and ½ apple cider vinegar

    Ingredients

    • 1/3 cup Apple juice
    • 1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

    Lay out 2 sheets of aluminum foil on top of each other. Add half the butter, brown sugar and maple syrup. Place ribs meat side down and add the rest of the butter, brown sugar and maple syrup. Wrap ribs tightly in the foil.

    • 1/2 cup Butter, cubed
    • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
    • Aluminum foil

    Place ribs on Pellet Joe meat side down in foil for 1 hour.

    Remove ribs from foil and sauce both sides with BBQ sauce.

    • 3/4 cup BBQ sauce

    Smoke ribs for 1 hour. Remove from pellet grill, let rest for 15 mins before slicing - enjoy!
