Instructions

  1. 01

Coat your salmon with olive oil and your preferred lemon seasoning.

  2. 02

Clean out any remaining ash in the firebox from a previous cook. Old ash can prevent the charcoal from proper ignition. It is recommended to use your ash tool to scrape and clean out the firebox and ash drawer. Do this while the unit is cold.

  3. 03

    Add charcoal to the firebox.

  4. 04

Place your soap stone on the top tier of the Divide and Conquer.

  5. 05

Close the bottom vent fully. ATTENTION! When running the grill in automatic mode, the bottom vent should be closed completely at all times.

  6. 06

    Close the dome.

  7. 07

Power on your grill with the switch on the rear. Power on your controller.

  8. 08

Set your temperature on your controller to 400°F and position the vents as described.

  9. 09

Press the AFS (automatic fire starter) button to engage the element to ignite the charcoal. The element is ON when the red light is glowing. The element will stay on for 15 minutes. Press and hold the AFS button again to turn the element OFF if desired.

  10. 10

Once the grill has come to temperature, coat the soap stone with oil.

  11. 11

Place the salmon skin side down on the soapstone. Surround with lemon slices.

  12. 12

After 30 minutes of smoking, check the temperature of the salmon. The salmon needs to reach an internal temperature of 145°F.

  13. 13

Once the salmon has reached an internal temperature of 145°F, you can squeeze some lemon slices over the salmon for extra flavor.

  14. 14

Remove from the grill and let rest for 3-5 minutes.

  15. 15

    Enjoy!
