    In a large bowl or zip-top bag, combine the buttermilk, Pork’n Rub, hot sauce, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, and paprika. Add the chicken and cover with Saran Wrap. Refrigerate overnight or for 3 hours.

    Fire up your Kamado Joe.

    Melt butter in a pan and add brown sugar, Reaper Rub, and the rest of the spices. Mix until combined.

    Make the Gravy by adding sausage to a cast iron pan over medium heat. Once cooked, add flour, salt, pepper, chili flakes, and buttermilk. Stir until it thickens.

    In a shallow dish, combine the flour, Reaper Rub, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, and pepper. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture. Set coated chicken aside.

    Heat 4 inches of oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat on your Kamado Joe until a deep-fry thermometer reaches 350°F.

    Add the chicken to Dutch oven and fry until golden brown, about 6-10 minutes. Remove the chicken and place on paper towels to drain.
