2 cups ketchup
3/4 cup honey
1/2 cup malt vinegar
1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
1/3 cup Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
3/4 cup fresh orange juice (juice from 6 oranges)
4 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 tbsp cayenne red pepper (remove to eliminate spiciness)
1 tsp fresh ginger root (minced)
Mix all the ingredients well and place in a sauce pan uncovered over low heat.
Allow it to simmer stirring frequently for 30 minutes, or until the mixture is reduced to the thickness of a thin BBQ sauce.
