- chicken halves
- red pepper
- 1 Stick Butter
- 1 small can frozen orange juice
Clean Chicken. Season well with salt and cayenne (red) pepper. Heat grill to 350°s. Place chicken bone side down and cook for 30 minutes. Meanwhile simmer butter and orange juice in small pot on stove. After 30 minutes, flip chicken to other side and let cook on grill for another 30 minutes,. Flip chicken one last time so that bone side is down on grill. For the last 30 minutes, baste the chicken with the OJ & butter mixture. The chicken will turn a beautiful golden brown. Total cooking time is one and a half hours.
