These are the best almonds I have ever tasted!! They have a smoky taste with a zing, but are not overwhelmingly hot. They are wonderful!!

Unsalted whole almonds
Franks Hot Sauce
Seasoned salt
Coarse ground pepper

Coat almonds in a bowl, with Franks Hot Sauce and season to taste with seasoned salt and pepper. Smoke in KJ at 200 degrees stirring almonds every 15 minutes until the sauce on almonds dries out. Place dry almonds back in the bowl and coat with sauce and season them again. Repeat the smoking/stirring process again until once again the almonds dry out. At this point, the almonds will still be somewhat chewy, but as they cool to room temperature, they become quite crispy. Store in sealed container.
