Kamado Joe Pizza Stone


The advantages of our high-impact ceramic Pizza Stone is that it distributes heat evenly across the entire surface, and absorbs excess moisture. It creates a pizza that is cooked perfectly on the top and bottom with a crispy crust. Enjoy fresh baked pizza with that pizzeria-quality taste!

Using and caring for your Pizza Stone is easy, and here are a few things to keep in mind. Your Pizza Stone will darken with use, and this is normal. Your Pizza Stone is ready to use. You should not season it with olive oil or other cooking oils. The Kamado Joe Heat Deflector must be used with the Pizza Stone to avoid burning the pizza.

USING THE KAMADO JOE PIZZA STONE
KAMADO JOE METHOD (Heat Deflector Required)
1. Remove cooking grate and light natural lump charcoal.
2. Wait 15 minutes for charcoal to fully heat.
3. Place Heat Deflector metal stand on top of fire ring.
4. Place Heat Deflector plate on top of stand.
5. Place Pizza Stone directly on top of Heat Deflector plate.
6. Close grill lid and allow Pizza Stone to preheat to 425°F for 10 minutes.
7. Spread a light coating of corn meal on the Pizza Stone to prevent sticking.
8. Bake 10-12 minutes or to desired crispiness.

OVEN METHOD (Gas or Electric)
1. Place Pizza Stone in oven and preheat to 425°F.

CLEANING & CARE
Caring for your Pizza Stone is easy. We recommend following these simple guidelines:
1. Allow Pizza Stone to cool completely before cleaning or storage.
2. Scrape or wipe off food material with a brush or clean dry cloth after each use.
3. Store Pizza Stone in a dry place.

• DO NOT place hot Pizza Stone on tables or surfaces that are not heat-resistant.
• DO NOT use Pizza Stone to cook on a stove top.
• DO NOT season your Pizza Stone with olive oil or other cooking oils.
• DO NOT soak in water. It may cause the pizza stone to crack with the next use.
• DO NOT use cleaning chemicals or clean it with soap and water.
• DO NOT leave Pizza Stone in oven during self-cleaning mode. It may crack or shatter.
